Standings
The standings after each race will be calculated and displayed in the Results & Records section below as each of the races progress through the season.
Tie Breaker Guidelines
In case of tie in our series standings, the following criteria will be used to break the tie in the order below:
- The individual with the highest average score per race will be determined the winner.
For example, if both participants have a score of 290 points and one participant did 5 races and the other participant did 6 races, the individual that did 5 races has an average score of 58 points per race versus 48.33 for the individual with 6 races.
- If the average score per race is the same for both participants, then a head-to-head comparison will be done to see what participant won the majority of the races when competing against the other participant.
For example, using the chart below:
Name | Firecracker | Tailgate | Ghostly | Jingle Bell | Zoo | Pirate | Gecko | Total |
Participant A | 100 | 60 | 70 | 80 | 60 | 50 | 420 | |
Participant B | 90 | 90 | 50 | 50 | 70 | 70 | 420 |
In the above scenario, Participant A wins because he or she won 3 out of the 5 races they competed against each other.
- If the head-to head completion in step 2 above yields a tie, then the participant with the lowest accumulated time will be determined the winner (for the races that they competed against one another).
